Living Nativity Calvary Independent Baptist Church presents a living nativity Friday, December 17, and Saturday, December 18, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the church, 140 Mc- Governs Lane, McConnellsburg. Christmas Eve Service Dublin Mills Community Church, 2700 Dublin Mills Road, Hustontown, will be holding its annual Christmas Eve program Friday, December 24, at 7:00 p.m. The program will feature a children’s program as well as a candlelight service. Also a New Year’s Eve service will be held Friday, December 31, at 6:00 p.m. A film entitled “When Things Seem Impossible” will be shown. Visitors are welcome to attend. Church Winter Hours Humble Beginning Independent Church, 170 Horseshoe Drive, Warfordsburg, (next to Bumper to Bumper) will hold Sunday School at 10:00 a.m.; morning worship at 11:00 a.m. Guest pastor last Sunday of the month, with the King James version studied. The hymn sing snow date is the last Saturday of the month. All are welcome.

Christmas Program There will be a Christmas program on December 18, at 7:00 p.m., at Pleasant Ridge Church of the Brethren, 2507 Pleasant Ridge Road, Needmore. The play, entitled “Bucky Brechenheimer’s Christmas Miracle,” by Kenny Blade, will be presented. The Brechenheimers are a loving Christian family celebrating Christmas with a unique hillbilly flair all their own. This play is an hour long and will give each of us a challenge to know the real meaning of Christmas. All are welcome.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service Knobsville United Methodist Church, located on Waterfall Road, will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service on Friday, December 24, at 8:00 p.m. Communion will also be celebrated. All are welcome to attend.

Christmas Program The children and youths of Knobsville United Methodist Church will present their Christmas program entitled “Christmas Around the World” on Sunday, December 19, at 1:00 p.m., in the church sanctuary. Prior to the program, a covered-dish meal will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. All are welcome to attend. The church is located on Waterfall Road.

Christmas Play Laurel Ridge Christian Church, Big Cove Tannery, will present a Christmas play entitled “While Cowboys Watched Their Herds By Night,” December 19 at 7:00 p.m.

Breakfast In Bethlehem “Breakfast In Bethlehem”, an interactive dining experience, will be held Saturday, December 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at McConnellsburg United Methodist Church, across from the courthouse on the square. Menu items include scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, orange juice, coffee and muffins. There is no fee for the breakfast, but donations will be accepted to defray food expenses. Journey back to first-century Bethlehem. Interact with costumed characters, view a live nativity, have some discussion time with Saint Nicholas and have photos taken. Drop in any time from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The adventure begins at the education building, south of the church on Route 522.

Youth Group All are invited to Pioneer Club/Youth group at Rock Hill Mennonite Church December 15, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Pioneer Club is for ages preschool thru 11 and youth group is for ages 12 and up. More information may be obtained by calling 485-9074 for Pioneer club and 485-9498 for the youth group.
