Christmas Program McConnellsburg Elementary School will present its annual Christmas concert on Friday, December 17. The concert will be held in the high school auditorium and will begin at 7:00 p.m. The concert is free to the public. Performing are all beginning band students from the fourth- and fifth-grade classes as well as the fifth-grade chorus students. The band students are under the direction of Larry Stepler and the chorus students are under the direction of Cathy Richards.

Free Movie A free holiday movie will be shown Friday, December 10, at 6:10 p.m., in the community room at the Fulton County Library. Call the library at 485-5327 to find out what’s playing.

Shooting Matches Postponed Shooting matches at Hustontown Firehall will be postponed until Saturday, December 18, at 1:00 p.m.

Boy Scout Meetings Boy Scouts of America Troop 43 no longer meets at the Presbyterian Church in McConnellsburg. Meetings are held every Thursday night at 6:00 p.m. at the VFW, 518 Lincoln Way East, McConneellsburg. All boys 11-18 years of age are welcome to attend. Monetary donations and help will be accepted. Christmas Caroling In place of its regular monthly meeting, Fulton County Democratic Club invites all to join in for caroling at Fulton County Medical Center Tuesday, December 14. The group will gather at 6:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Medical Center. Song sheets will be provided. There will be refreshments afterwards at 117 North Second Street, Mc- Connellsburg.

Santa At HAFCO Santa Claus will be at Hustontown Fire Co. on Friday, December 10, beginning at 7:00 p.m. with treats for children 12 years and under from the Forbes Road School District.

Open Stage Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Co. will sponsor an open stage Saturday, December 18, beginning at 6:00 p.m. The kitchen opens at 5:00 p.m. Admission is free and the facility is smoke-free.

Hog Shoot Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Co. will sponsor a hog shoot Saturday, January 1, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Come out and try skills and support the volunteer firefighters and ambulance attendants. More information at a later date.
