ACM Awards Five Scholarships


Five prospective Allegany College of Maryland students won scholarships at the Bedford County Campus of ACM’s recent 14th annual open house. The $1,500 in scholarships were awarded by random drawing and are provided by the Bedford County Regional Education Foundation. The five students, flanked by ACM recruiter Sue Gabriel, left, and Leah Pepple, coordinator of grants and development at ACM’s Pennsylvania campuses, are pictured. They, along with their study interests and scholarship amount, are, from left: Kelssey Park of Three Springs, nursing, $200; Amanda Hann, also of Three Springs, nursing, $200; Patti Sroka of Mount Union, medical assistant or physical therapist assistant, $300; Victoria Miller of Claysburg, nursing, $300; and Shelby Grace of Hopewell, psychology, $500.
