SF To Present Christmas Cantata

Southern Fulton High School Vocal Music Department will present its Christmas concert Sunday, December 5, at 3 p.m., in the high school auditorium. The concert will feature the performance of “Night of Alleluias,” a Christmas cantata blending traditional and contemporary seasonal music. The cantata will be performed by a 169-member choir combining 104 students in senior high chorus, junior high chorus, and S.F.H.S. Ensemble and 65-adult community chorus members under the direction of Dan Meredith. The concert will feature soloists Cierra Covalt, Alyssa O’Neal, T.J. Gibbs, Emmaline Crouse, Isaac Hartman, Mariah Hill, William Taylor, Molly Deneen and Lacey Beatty. Molly Deneen, Kelsey Black, Alyssa Nunez, Cierra Covalt, T.J. Gibbs, William Taylor and Emmaline Crouse will narrate the cantata. Admission to the concert is $3 for adults and $2 for students. Proceeds benefit the choral activity fund. The public is invited to attend.
