Public Opinion field hockey all-stars were named last week. They are first team - Megan Keller and Kali Hockensmith of Forbes Road; and second team - Kelsey Lilley and Corri Parsons of Forbes Road. Honorable mention went to Sammi Clippinger, Erin McQuait and Katherine Berkstresser of Forbes Road.

Public Opinion volleyball all-stars were first team - Emily Wakins, McConnellsburg; second team - Valerie Green, McConnellsburg; and Whitney Fritz, Southern Fulton. Honorable mention went to Megan Baker, Mc- Connellsburg.

Thanks to all the churches and any organization for their kindness delivering and serving Thanksgiving dinners in the county. It was greatly appreciated.

Ten former classmates of 1957 enjoyed a luncheon on Wednesday in the home of Pat Horton.

Visiting with Carole Mellott over the Thanksgiving holiday and enjoying a dinner were her children and families and sister Larry and Joyce Warthin and children Heather and Todd of Camp Hill.

Lydia Mannion of Pittsburgh visited with her grandmother, Louise Long, on Sunday.

Some members of the St. Paul Lutheran Church helped to decorate the church and put up the Christmas tree on Sunday. Refreshments were served following the decorating.

Birthday wishes to Emma Bivens who will observe her 94th birthday on December 5; Carl Knable and John Duffey, December 3; Lynette Helman, December 4; Dolly Miller and Martha Sheffield, December 5; Don Diehl, December 7; Mark Buterbaugh, December 8; David Bivens, December 3; John Washabaugh, December 7; Joyce Wright, December 6; Wendy Mellott, December 5; and Kimmy Harris, 11-yearsold December 8.

Sarah Lynch and Amanda Keefer recently enjoyed a trip to Germany to visit Sarah’s daughter, Misty Johnson, and children. Misty’s husband, Tyrone Johnson, is serving in Afghanistan.

Sympathy goes out to the family of Calvin Everts, who passed way last week.

Sympathy also to the relatives of Lette Ward, who passed away last week in Florida. She was the daughter of the late Nancy Taylor Ward, formerly of Fulton County, and Ed Ward of Florida.
