The Angel Wings annual craft bazaar will be held at the Shade Gap auxiliary building December 4 and 5.

Our sympathy and prayers are extended to the family of Trinity Swope, who died last week in a fire near Warfordsburg.

Betty Ramsey spent the weekend Christmas shopping with Bill, Molly, Emily and Pete Ramsey in Wilkes Barre.

Fred and Sharon Horne hosted their Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday evening for Andy, Tasha, Shaine, Kean and Miah Goshorn, George and Heather Locke, Buzz and Bea Covert, Travis and Angela Madden, Devin, Mindy and Camryn Horne, and Laverne Brown.

John and Mary Mumma and Buzz and Bea Covert celebrated Bea’s birthday with dinner in Harrisburg on Sunday.

Congratulations to Gordon and Donna Locke, who celebrated their 30th anniversary on November 22. A surprise celebration, hosted by Ruth Grissinger and helpers, was held at the Orbisonia Community Outreach Center on Sunday afternoon.

Visiting recently with the Steve and Karen Grissinger family were Mike, Chris and Kevin Pintozzi and friend Brad, Brent Carlson, Travis Madden and Donna Locke.

Visiting on Friday evening were Mike, Mandy, Aaron and Michael Snyder, Tim, Tracey and Tanner Fields, and Tom and Mamie Streightiff. Aaron and Mi-chael enjoyed some wrest-ling and baby Tanner was being cuddled while sleeping the evening away.

Brian, Emily and Micah Ramsey visited with Roger and Pat Ramsey on Sunday evening.

Tom Streightiff visited with Huldah Streightiff and family in Huntingdon on Sunday for special church services and lunch.

Immanuel Bible Church will hold its annual Christmas program on Sunday evening, December 12.

Mark calendars for pesticide update trainings for 2011. Southern Huntingdon County High School will host its meeting on January 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. There will be pesticide update meetings held at the Huntingdon County Extension Office on February 1 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on February 10 from 1 to 3 p.m.
