November 9, 16 Court Sessions Held
Judges Shawn D. Meyers and Angela Rosenberry Krom of the 39th Judicial District of the Fulton County Court of Common Pleas presided over court sessions held at the Fulton County Courthouse on Tuesday, November 9 and 16.
Larry E. Brake appeared pro-se for arraignment proceedings held on two counts of driving under the influence and summary offenses. Brake was admitted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program following the recommendation of Fulton County District Attorney Travis Kendall. He will accordingly complete 12 months probation.
Daniel James Brigham appeared pro-se and waived arraignment on one count of possession of a small amount of marijuana. Brigham entered a guilty plea and was ordered to complete 12 months probation.
Kenneth Shawn Farley appeared with his attorney and waived arraignment on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person. Farley pleaded not guilty, and his trial has been scheduled for the January 24, 2011, term of court.
David Allen Hippensteel appeared in court on charges of theft by deception and receiving stolen property. Hippensteel pleaded guilty to theft by deception, and he will be sentenced on December 14.
Benjamin Nathaniel Zeger appeared pro-se and was admitted into the ARD program on charges of driving under the influence. Zeger will complete 12 months probation.
Tierney Star Zeger appeared with legal counsel to enter a plea of not guilty to theft by deception and receiving stolen property. Zeger’s trial has tentatively been scheduled for the January 24 court term.
Andrew Lee Anderson appeared with his attorney on November 16 and entered a plea of guilty to possession of a small amount of marijuana. Anderson was given one-month probation.
Hulda E. Drenning appeared with his attorney for arraignment proceedings held on one count of driving under the influence. Drenning pleaded not guilty, and his trial has been scheduled for the January 24 term of court.
William Russel Hann pleaded not guilty to receiving stolen property. His trial will be conducted during the January 24 court term.
Susan Marie Naugle appeared with legal counsel on charges of access-device fraud and theft by unlawful taking. Naugle pleaded not guilty, and her trial has been set for the January 24 term of court.
Wanda Poper failed to appear in court on charges of bad checks. A bench warrant was issued for her arrest.
Kellie Jo Reese did not appear in court on charges of theft by unlawful taking and access-device fraud. A bench warrant was issued for Reese’s arrest.
Sentencing for Gary Haines Sr. has been continued until January 18. Haines is charged with fraud.
Shawn Edward Laman was ordered to complete 60 days of intermediate punishment in addition to 90 days in the Franklin County Prison on charges of driving under the influence.
Ryan Vincent Slodysko will complete 30 days in the Franklin County Prison for driving under the influence.
John Christopher Holba appeared in court for sentencing on charges of driving under the influence. Holba was ordered to spend 30 days in the Franklin County Prison.
