A McConnellsburg man was not injured on Wednesday, November 10, when his 2003 Jeep Cherokee was struck from behind as he was turning into a driveway along Mont Alto Road in Franklin County.

State police in Chambersburg reported Jeffery L. Miner, 45, of McConnellsburg was wearing a seat belt when his vehicle was struck from behind at 8:14 a.m. by a 1999 Ford E-250 driven by Darrell L. Burkholder, 33, of Chambersburg. Burkholder also wore a seat belt and escaped injury. He will be cited by state police for driving too fast for roadways conditions.
