Crystal Spring Man Accused Of Making Threats
A 40-year-old Crystal Spring man was arraigned on charges of terroristic threats and sent to the Franklin County Prison in lieu of $15,000 bail over the weekend.
The various charges against Elvis Eugene Maust stem from an incident that occurred at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, November 20, during which Maust argued with a 38-year-old woman and a 68-year-old man. During the argument, Maust allegedly threatened to kill both individuals as well as a 66-year-old woman at 215 Pin Oak Road in Brush Creek Township. Maust reportedly went inside his home and retrieved a .22 caliber revolver and fired four shots into the woods. Two additional victims, named by state police, include an 18-year-old male and a 17- year-old female.
