MES Character Counts Students Named
McConnellsburg Elementary has continued its character education program this year. It is believed that characater counts so each month a different character trait is promoted.
In October, compassion and how to care for others, doing kind and thoughtful deeds, and putting other people’s needs before their own was worked on. The students listed below were chosen by their teacher as demonstrating the qualities of compassion. They receivd a certificate and a small prize for their accomplishment.
Those students are: Danny Richardson, Har-ley Nipper, Alyson Stallman, Morgan Buterbaugh, Willow Spriggs, Gage Henry, William Van Metre, Alex Mumma, Logan Mellott, Hayden Schetropmf, Madison Queeney, Zada Lynch, Seneca Womble, Madison Koontz, Sawere Truax, Hannah Glenn, Tianna Flory, Randi Shover, Izabella Keefer, Rebecca Wenschhof, Kailee Hernandez- Corbet, Carter Suders, Kaitlyn Siko, Kadi Mellott, Megan Fix, Evan Dickerson and Marie Fuller.
The character traits that will be worked on this school year are citizenship, compasison, fairness, honesty, integrity, persevereance, responsibility, respect and self-discipline.
