Capital Blue Cross Medicare Product Ranks High Nationally

SeniorBlue, a Medicare health maintenance organization product of Capital BlueCross, wholly owned subsidiary, Keystone Health Plan Central, is ranked No. 22 in the nation and No. 2 in Pennsylvania, according to the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Medicare Health Insurance Plan Rankins 2010-11.

The National Committee for Quality Assurance is an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to measuring the quality of America’s healthcare. The rankings are based on assessment of about 183 Medicare plans nationwide.

SeniorBlue’s highest rating is in the Customer Satisfaction category, which includes such services as “getting care easily,” “getting care quickly,” “customer service,” “satisfaction with physicians,” and “satisfaction with health plan services.”

SeniorBlue is also rated high throughout the Prevention and Treatment categories.
