Guy Truax of Pleasant Road had an overnight stay in Harrisburg Hospital where he received a pacemaker.

Elizabeth Bishop held a family get-together on Sunday in the social room of the M.E.H. Apartments.

Warfordsburg Senior Center hosted a November social night on Friday with a ham and turkey Thanksgiving dinner and covered dishes provided by those attending.

Brandon Lehman recently celebrated his seventh birthday at his home with parents Jeremy and Dawn Lehman of Greencastle. Grandparents are Richard and Barbara Lehman and Donald and Debbie Bingaman of Greencastle. Greatgrandmother is Louise Long of town.

Sympathy goes out to the families of Ralph Kell and Carl Bain. Both men passed away last week.

Eddie Piper gave a concert at Pleasant Ridge Church on Sunday, with a full course turkey dinner served afterwards. He also performed at Knobsville Church of the Brethren on Sunday night.

Abagael McGarvey, daughter of Tim and Deb McGarvey, observed the 11th anniversary of her second kidney transplant on November 19. Abby is now 14 and is in the eighth grade at Mc- Connellsburg. She is doing quite well and hopefully has a bright and blessed future.

A community Thanksgiving service was held Sunday at McConnellsburg United Presbyterian Church.
