A McConnellsburg man who was travelling eastbound along Lincoln Way East last Wednesday afternoon suffered minor injuries when his 1974 Harley-Davidson Sportster was struck in the side.
According to state police, 46-year-old John H. Rasp III of McConnellsburg was attempting to make a righthand turn onto South Seventh Street at 4:09 p.m. when it was struck by an eastbound 2010 Toyota Prius driven by Robert A. Roush, 48, from Mercersburg.
State police said Roush misinterpreted Rasp’s hand signal for a left-hand turn. The impact caused the motorcycle to fall onto its right side and slide across the Mc- Connellsburg Borough roadway.
