Western Pa. Man Says Car Thief Knocked Him Out
MADISON, Pa. (AP) – State police are investigating a report that a western Pennsylvania man’s car was stolen by someone who approached the vehicle and knocked him unconscious while he was stopped at a rural intersection.
Police say the 18-year-old West Newton man told them he was stopped at a blinking light in Madison about 1 a.m. Saturday when he was attacked.
The man tells police someone opened the door of his vehicle and knocked him unconscious, stealing his 1996 BMW. The man told police he had a swollen cheek and no vehicle when he regained consciousness.
Police have not released a description of the suspect.
