Three Springs Historical Society Calendars For Sale

Three Springs Historical Society is selling a 2011 calendar with historical photographs (black and white about 7 inches by 10 inches) of the Three Springs/Saltillo area. Featured in the calendar are photos of Wible Bottling Works, Harry Greenland’s Garage and Chrysler Dealership, Harry E. Huston’s store in Saltillo, Mike Mort’s Atlantic Service Station located where Pizza Star II is now located, a Decoration Day gathering at the Three Springs Cemetery (early 1900s), Saltillo High School, Clay Park’s store and the local bank in Three Springs now Clearfield Bank & Trust (early 1900s), Huston’s Store in Three Springs, Three Springs Elementary School (1950s), Saltillo Railroad Station, Mel Everhart’s Mobil Gas Station and a line of nine bobsleds hauling lumber to Three Springs in the early 1900s.

Calendars are $8 each or two for $15 and are available at the Three Springs Mini Mart or from any board member of the T.S. Historical Society. Board members include Jim and Martha Benson, Clyde and Pat Denison, Harold Harper, Gene Park, Ted and Pat Rotz, and Dean Trego. Calendars may also be purchased by mail.
