Woman Struck And Killed By Train In Western Pa.
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (AP) – Authorities in western Pennsylvania say a woman was struck and killed by a train.
Authorities say the woman was hit by a Norfolk Southern Train in the west end of Johnstown shortly after 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Lees says she was believed to have been standing on the tracks when she was hit by the train, which was traveling 30 to 35 miles per hour.
The Tribune-Democrat of Johnstown says police and firefighters in Johnstown responded to the scene.
