Everett Residents Taken To Hospital
Two Everett residents were transported to Fulton County Medical Center Monday morning for treatment of injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
According to state police, the injuries were sustained when Eric S. Sipes, 36, of Everett was heading northbound on Great Cove Road in a 2010 Ford F-150. A 1995 Freightliner driven by Charles L. Shew, 61, from Shippensburg, reportedly pulled from a stop sign on the Route 30 exit ramp and into the path of Sipes’ truck.
Shew was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. He will be charged with a stop sign violation. Sipes and passenger Larry D. Sipes, 56, also of Everett, were not wearing seat belts.
