CSB Donates To Park Practice Play Project


Emory W. “Sonny” Parsons Jr., center, chairman of Community State Bank, presents a check for $2,500 to McConnellsburg Lions Don Fowler and Loy Garber, Practice & Play Project committeemen. The bank’s donation will help underwrite the $100,000 project that will convert a tennis court at Lions Club Community Park to an under-roof batting and golf practice area, and resurface and repair the other tennis court. The Lions have so far raised 30 percent of the needed funds and hope to began construction in the spring.
