Sunday, October 31, the young adults and teens of Cito United Methodist kicked off a second church service. The Praise Band, consisting of Koby and Cherina Cutchall, Trent Sowers, Cole Johnston and Larkin Shearer, led the worship service with Pastor John Godissart. The congregation was encouraged to feel free to express their praise and worship in a variety of love languages, including dance, waving of flags, raising hands and singing.

With no bulletin and no order of worship, The Edge encourages attendees to let the Holy Spirit be their guide. Reaching out to those who attend through e-mail and Facebook, The Edge moves beyond the traditional ways of church to let others know that the love of God can be shared and expressed to reach those who may be looking for something more. The service is geared toward teens and young adults, but saw a variety of ages among the congregation at its inaugural service.

Encouraging everyone to come to experience God’s love with a live Praise Band, skits, dance, and more, The Edge Service begins with a time of fellowship and sharing of prayer concerns in the Fellowship Hall at noon and moves to the sanctuary for worship at 12:30 p.m.
