Amish Boy Dies When Horse, Car Collide

GORDONVILLE, Pa. (AP) – An Amish teenager is dead after his horse collided with a car in central Pennsylvania.

State police tell the Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era the 16-year-old died Saturday night in a collision with a sport utility vehicle in Leacock Township, Lancaster County.

The collision happened around 1:30 p.m. and the boy was transported to Lancaster General Hospital were he died around 11 p.m.

Police did not release the teen’s name but say he lived in nearby Ronks.
