The stage filled with musicians entertained the audience with a variety of vocal and instrumental performances. Fellowship, music and food filled the evening, along with tales by Richard Duley.

Vernon Clingerman led a singalong with camp-meeting style songs such as “The Unclouded Day,” “Keep On The Sunny Side” and, in honor of our troops, “There’ a Star-Spangled Banner Waving Somewhere.” Don Unger joined in with “In The Sweet By And By.”

It was an emotional moment when 88-yearold Catherine Beatty sang “Back To The Cross and Home,” in memory of her 17-year-old grandson, Matthew Lynn Weller, who recently died. Vernelda Jay of Clearville played the keyboard and sang several songs, one of which was the inspiring, “Hearts That Will Never Break Again.”

Other entertainers included Grant Souders, Jack Wink and Robert Burton. Bonnie Ward won the floral arrangement and a $25 gift certificate. November 13 at 6:00 p.m. is the next scheduled open mic night.
