Tim Henry recently attended a costume party and hayride hosted by Bryan and DeAnn Yingling at their farm.

Tim Henry also attended a hayride and campfire at the home of Dan and Lisa Mc-Keehan of Germany Valley on Saturday Evening.

Angel Wings would like to thank everyone who donated items and attended the benefit auction for Stacy Kreis and family on Saturday evening. Without each of them donating their time and talents, the auction would not have been the success it was.

Some of the locals enjoying the auction were Gordon and Donna Locke, Merle and Kay Rosenberry, Naomi Winnick, Nicole Coons and family, Rick and Tonya Doyle, Lori Snyder, Leonard and Bonita Anderson, Ethan and Erin Anderson, and others.

Preparations are being made for the Angel Wings Annual Craft Bazaar at the Shade Gap Auxiliary Building on December 4 and 5. Contact Deb Snyder at 814- 599-8687 if you are an interested vendor. Preregistration and payment are required; deadline for interested vendors is November 15.

Irene Park spent Saturday evening visiting with Eloise Swope.

Roger and Pat Ramsey enjoyed visiting the Outer Banks area in North Carolina last week with Brian, Emily and Micah Ramsey and many others.

Visiting recently with the Steve and Karen Grissinger family were Mike, Chris and Kevin Pintozzi, Marty and Brian Sinkiewicz, Steve and Ben Haines and friends, Brent Carlson, Donna Locke, Buzz and Bea Covert, and Tom and Mamie Streightiff.

Donnie and Panda Horne, Steve, Karen, Terri and Tammy Grissinger and Ramon Martin enjoyed an overnight visit to elk country this weekend. Near Winslow Hill, they saw more than 170 elk on Saturday evening and many more on Sunday morning. The male elk were bugling throughout the evening and all through the night. The group toured the new Elk Country Visitor Center on Saturday afternoon. The weather was beautiful and a great time was had by all.

“Remmy” (Terri’s Shih Tzu) had a sleepover with Gordon and Donna Locke, Irene Park and Irene’s Shih Tzu, Joy.

Three Springs Volunteer Fire Co. will be having a Fall Festival in conjunction with its annual Halloween parade on October 30 beginning at 7 p.m.

Don’t forget to stock up on candy for Halloween.
