FR Students Of The Month

Sierra Miller, an eighthgrade student at Forbes Road High School, has been named Junior High Student of the Month for October by the high school faculty. Students are selected by their teachers based on attendance, grades, citizenship and being a positive leader in the classroom.

Sierra Miller Sierra Miller Sierra is enrolled in the academic curriculum and says that physical science and tech ed are her favorite classes. Her science teacher, Mrs. Beegle, says, “Sierra is a hardworking student who is always on task. She is well liked and always has a smile to share. She asks questions when necessary and helps her fellow classmates when working in groups. Overall, she is a pleasure to have in class.”

Sierra serves as class president and is a member of the drama club, library club, student council and the yearbook staff. She also plays on the junior high Lady Cardinals basketball team and, in her spare time, she likes to listen to music and play basketball with her dad. She is also an avid hunter.

Kylynne Fraker Kylynne Fraker Sierra’s parents are Troy and Mitzi Miller. Her plans for the future are to become a pharmacist.

Kylynne Fraker, a senior, has been named Senior High Student of the Month for October by the high school faculty.

Kylynne is a member of the National Honor Society, drama club, FCCLA, student council and varsity club. She also plays on the Lady Cardinals basketball team and serves as the class president. She is enrolled in the academic curriculum and says that music elective is her favorite class. Her teacher, Mrs. Truax, says, “Ky is a mature, responsible and highly motivated young lady who takes the initiative to help wherever needed. She possesses an empathetic caring attitude and has a very pleasant and positive disposition. She is an allaround great student and wonderful person.”

Kylynne’s parents are Brian and Tammy Fraker and she has an older brother, Logan. She is currently employed at Murphy’s Total Pet Connection in Mc- Connellsburg and, in her spare time, she helps teach preschool at My Father’s House Ministries. Her plans for the future are to attend college for court reporting.

When a student is named Student of the Month by the faculty, it is in recognition of a promising young person who shows strength and character in their daily school life. Kylynne and Sierra have impressed their teachers as being a good example of these students.
