The weather was great for the Fulton Fall Folk Festival. It was a little breezy, but no rain.

Lots of people travelled through Fulton County for the great fall festival. The quilt display at the Fulton Theatre was great with the showing of a lot of folks’ pieces of art.

Hustontown Fire Co. reports a large crowd was out to enjoy their smorgasbord on Sunday.

Hustontown Fire Co. and Ladies Auxiliary wish to thank everyone for their support and donations. It takes everyone and the hard work of the fire company and auxiliary members to make it a success.

Lonnie Crouse of New Stanton, Pa., visited with his parents, Morris and Charlotte Crouse, over the weekend.

Beverly St. Clair and Alaina visited with Kate Berkstresser on Monday afternoon.

Please keep Patsy Gelvin in your prayers as she had eye surgery this week and will be down for several weeks.

Congratulations to the Forbes Road High School Lady Cardinals field hockey team for winning the Keystone League chamiponship. Way to go, ladies, and, coach Carol Cilne.

Sorry to hear Lois Mc- Gowan is not doing real well. We send recovery wishes her way.

Household hint: If you’re using a paint tray, let aluminum foil help with the cleanup. Just line the tray with foil before you begin. When you finish painting, you can pour any unused paint back into the can. Then toss the foil liner and cleanup is done. When ready, just use another piece of foil.
