James Buchanan 3
The James Buchanan Rockets took three consecutive sets on Monday to easily clinch the non-league match against the Mc- Connellsburg Lady Spartans. Rikki Green had five kills and four blocks to lead the Lady Spartans, while Emily Watkins finished with nine kills. Valerie Green tallied 16 assists, and teammates Jess Nero and Marleigh Jennings had seven and six digs, respectively.
Tussey Mountain 0
McConnellsburg picked up its third consecutive victory on Thursday with a 3-0 ousting of the Tussey Mountain Titans. Emily Watkins and Rikki Green totalled 10 and eight kills, respectively, and Watkins also chipped in five blocks. Valerie Green had 19 assists and five digs, while Marleigh Jennings finished with five kills and nine digs.

Southern Fulton pulled off a win in the second set, but it was Shanksville who prevailed last Friday by the final score of 3-1. Ashley Sigel rallied for nine digs and 15 services points, while Whitney Ritz followed with eight kills, three blocks and 12 service points. Abby Hawkins handed out 14 assists, and Kelsey Truax finished with 12 digs.

Southern Fulton’s season record fell to 1-9 last Thursday with a disappointing 3-0 Sideling Hill League loss at the hands of the Fannett- Metal Tigers. Abby Hawkins led her Lady Indian teammates in the assist category with 12 assists and an additional five service points. Cierra Covalt made 12 digs, and Ashley Sigel had six. Masey Brown and Kelsie Truax both tallied three kills, and Whitney Ritz posted two blocks.
McConnellsburg rebounded from a loss in the opening set and moved onto a 3-1 victory over the Hyndman Hornets last Tuesday. Emily Watkins led the Spartans in the kill category with 12 kills in addition to five blocks. Rikki Green tallied six kills and 12 blocks, while Valerie Green handed out 22 assists. Teammate Marleigh Jennings finished with five kills and six digs, and Jessica Nero had four digs and five aces during the Sideling Hill League game.

Tussey Mountain 2
Tussey Mountain picked up wins in the second and third set last Tuesday and leapt out to a 2-1 lead, but Southern Fulton rallied from behind and ended the match with a 3-2 victory. Whitney Ritz finished with 13 kills and six blocks, while teammate Ashley Sigel added seven kills, 19 digs, 18 service points and two aces. Kelsey Truax had seven kills and 13 digs, while Abby Hawkins again led in assists with 27. Cierra Covalt rounded out the match with 10 digs and 12 service points.

Northern Bedford 1
The Northern Bedford Panthers picked up a victory during the third set Monday, but it was Southern Fulton that eventually cruised to a 3-1 Sideling Hill League victory. Whitney Ritz tallied 15 kills, 11 service points and three aces for the Lady Indians, who also got six kills, 21 service points and four aces from Masey Brown. Abby Hawkins posted 16 assists, and Kelsey Truax finished with 14 digs, 15 service points and two aces.
Southern Fulton 2
McConnellsburg eked out a narrow win over the Southern Fulton Indians on Monday grabbing the Sideling Hill League match 3-2. Tristin Deneen, Jesse Swope and Paul Hauck all had goals for the Spartans, while Deneen added two assists as well. For the Indians, Chase Horton totalled a goal and an assist, and Cody Burgoyne added the final goal. Spartan goalkeeper Nick Daniels finished with eight saves.
Forbes Road 10 Windber 0
Dustin Sheffield led the Forbes Road Cardinals’ offensive effort on Friday, scoring three goals during the 10-0 ousting of Windber. Teammate Michael Runk added two goals during the non-league match, and Chase Shaw, Casey Wade, Phillip Dodson, Presley Swope and Casey Covert each had a goal. Those having assists were Shaw (2), Swope (2), Tannery Henry, Donovan Bricker, Covert and Sheffield.
Hunter Miller scored a lone goal for the McConnellsburg Spartans on Friday during a 10-1 Sideling Hill League loss to Fannett- Metal. Meanwhile, Alex Keaton made seven saves in goal for the Spartans.
Forbes Road 7
Dustin Sheffield poured on the heat and led the Forbes Road Cardinals’ offensive effort with four goals during a 7-0 win over the Everett Warriors. Presley Swope added two goals, and Donovan Bricker had one. Those dishing out assists included Michael Runk (2), Chase Shaw, Matthew Bricker, Kim Sealock, Swope and D. Bricker.

Southern Fulton dropped its sixth game of the season losing to the Northern Bedford Panthers, who easily picked up the 7-0 Sideling Hill League win. Courtney Strait was back in goal after missing three weeks due to a concussion. Strait finished up the game with a total of 17 saves.
Forbes Road 1
Forbes Road freshman player Chase Shaw dumped in a goal just 44 seconds into the game last Tuesday that turned out to be enough to give the Cardinals the 1-0 advantage and league win over the McConnellsburg Spartans. Kim Sealock had the assist, while Cardinal goalie Tanner Henry preserved the shutout with four saves. Dillan Hollinshead, Mc- Connellsburg goalkeeper, tallied five saves.

Southern Fulton had a total of three runners finish in the top 10 last Tuesday during a disappointing nonleague loss to Chestnut Ridge. Briar Kirk finished in third for the Indians with his time of 18:43, and J.C. Munson racked up a fifth-place finish after completing the race in 18:53. Zane Baker was in eighth position overall with a time of 20:20.

Forbes Road’s Kaili Hockensmith connected for three goals in the opening half on Friday, allowing the Cardinals to cruise to a 3-1 win over Belleville Mennonite. Hockensmith was assisted in the Keystone League match by Shania Gelvin, Megan Keller and Erin Mc- Quait.

Southern Huntingdon 0
Forbes Road ousted the Southern Huntingdon Rockets last Wednesday by the score of 7-0 and racked up yet another Keystone League victory. During their ninthstraight win, Cardinal Sammie Clippinger again led the scoring effort with three goals. Megan Keller, Kaili Hockensmith, Corri Parsons and Lara Cromer each added one goal. Hockensmith and Keller added three and two assists, respectively, and teammate Kelsey Lilley and Shania Gelvin both posted assists.
Forbes Road 4 Huntingdon 0
The Forbes Road Lady Cardinals bumped up their season record to 11-1 last Tuesday with a 4-0 win over the Huntingdon Bearcats. Kaili Hockensmith led the team’s offensive effort with two goals, and Megan Keller and Kelsey Lilley each connected for one goal. Corri Parsons dished out two assists during the Keystone League game, and Keller, Kinsey Cutchall and Sammie Clippinger all had one. Jess Gearhart racked up yet another shutout, blocking six shots in goal.
McConnellsburg tied the score at 1-1 during the second half of last Thursday’s match and edged out Everett in overtime for the 2-1 Sideling Hill League victory. Nikki Fleming and Santana Ramsey both had goals, while Fleming and Morgan Barclay contributed assists. Sarrah Pollock racked up another win with eight saves in goal.
