What a beautiful weekend to get out and enjoy the wonderful, warm weather.

Sorry to hear Morris Crouse is a patient at Harrisburg Hospital. We send speedy recovery wishes to him.

Our sympathy is extended to the family and relatives of Nellie Shotts, who passed away last week, and to the family of Kenny Berkstresser, who passed away also.

Betty Ann Funk of Oregon has been spending several days with her mother, Betty Malot, and also Clem Malot.

Knobsville United Methodist Church had a good turnout for its public supper on Saturday evening.

A lot of folks attended the Lynch reunion held at Needmore Firehall on Sunday.

Kate Berkstresser visited with Don and Belle Berkstresser of Needmore on Sunday afternoon.

We send get well wishes to David Hoover. We hear he had some surgery.

Hope Betty Shotts has been able to return home after spending a few days in the hospital.

A lot of folks are getting ready for the annual Fulton Fall Folk Festival. The Fulton County Quilt Show will be in the Fulton Theatre. So folks, bring out your beautiful quilts for show whether antique or new.

Household hint: Make your own carpet freshener and add fragrance to any room. Combine one-fourth cup of talcum powder with your favorite scent, threefourths cup of baking soda and two tablespoons of cornstarch. Mix together. Sprinkle this over carpet and let stand 15 minutes. Vacuum and enjoy the fresh scent.
