Team Earley Wins FCMC Tournament

On Saturday, September 18, 2010, Fulton County Medical Center Foundation held its 17th annual golf tournament at Great Cove Golf Course. It was a beautiful fall day that helped turn out 92 golfers. New this year was a first-place traveling trophy and a last-place “toilet bowl” trophies.

First-place team was Foster Earley, Ryan Earley, Scott Earley and Toby Souders, who took the $400 prize plus trophy.

Second-place team was made up of Jim Truax, John Mixell, Lucas Carbaugh and Dustin Doyle and won a $300 prize.

Third-place team of Craig Paylor, Vic Erickson, Brett Cornelius and Ron Maslanik won $200.

Last-place team of Evan Mellott, Cory Gress, Allison Fraker and Brandon Buterbaugh took home the last-place trophy.

Foundation Executive Director Dr. Robert Roush ssaid, “The tournament raised approximately $20,000, that will go toward the purchase of a van for long-term care residents to use to increase their off campus activities. The FCMC Foundation would like to thank all who helped make this event a success. Without these annual event contributions, we would not be able to sustain the high level of care that remains FCMC’s hallmark.”
