Bedford Co. Foundation Of ACM Grants Scholarships To Six

The Bedford County Regional Educational Foundation of Allegany College of Maryland has announced the awarding of scholarships to six students in the current 2010-11 academic year.

Chelsea McDonald of Mc- Connellsburg, was presented a John H. Jordan Memorial Scholarship. She is a dental hygiene major. A 2008 Central Fulton High School graduate, she works at Sheetz. She is the daughter of Tracey Harris and Charles McDonald.

Jamie Beegle of Clearville, received a Pennsylvania Student Scholarship. She is a pre-nursing major. A 2010 graduate of Everett Area High School, she is the daughter of Robert and Michele Beegle.

Lindsay Diehl of Manns Choice, was presented an Everett Cash Mutual Insurance Group Scholarship. She is a business management major. A 2009 high school graduate through Pennsylvania Homeschoolers Accreditation Agency, she is the daughter of Tina and Allan Diehl.

Amanda France of Osterberg, received the Memorial Hospital of Bedford County Foundation Scholarship. A nursing major, she is a 1998 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School who served five active-duty years in the U.S. Air Force. She is the daughter of Dawn Walter and Morgan Dively.

Jason Smith of Breezewood, earned an Everett Cash Mutual Insurance Group Scholarship. He is a general studies major. A 2004 Everett Area High School graduate, he is the son of Sherry Whipkey and Kelly Smith and the step-son of Douglas Whipkey.

Jolene Williams of Breezewood, received a Telford W. Fleegle Memorial Scholarship. She is a pre-dental hygiene major. A 2010 Everett Area High School graduate, she works at the Union Hotel. She is the daughter of Jim and Nora Williams.
