Court Session Held July 13

STAFF REPORT

Judge Shawn D. Meyers of the 39th Judicial District of the Fulton/Franklin County Court of Pleas presided over a court session held at Fulton Theatre on July 13.

Juan Ramon Calderon appeared in court for call of the criminal trial list on charges of possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence and false identification to law enforcement. Calderon will be sentenced on August 17 following a presentence investigation by the Fulton County Probation Department.

Eric Christopher Funk appeared with his attorney on charges of driving under suspension, the use or possession of drug paraphernalia and false identification to law enforcement. After Funk entered a guilty plea, it was determined by the court that sentencing would be held on August 17.

Derek James Peck entered a plea of guilty to unlawful restraint. Peck was scheduled to be sentenced on September 7.

Robert Jason Will appeared in court with legal counsel and entered a guilty plea to forgery and criminal trespassing. Will was sentenced to complete between 26 days and 23 months in the Franklin County Prison for trespassing and was granted time served. He was ordered to complete 37 months probation for trespassing and an additional 60 months probation for forgery.

Shannon May Wood appeared pro-se and waived arraignment proceedings held on charges of driving under the influence and summary offenses. Wood was admitted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program and will accordingly complete a probationary period.

Individuals receiving continuances until the October 25 term of court are Tracey Lynn Branche, Michael P. Collins, Brock Flowers, Gary P. Haines Sr., Shawn Edward Laman, Rebecca Lynn Moore, Shane Douglas Pittman, Gregory Allen Seville, Timmy Allen Shoemaker, Ryan Vincent Slodysko and David Louis Stauffer.
