Edgar B. Kough
Edgar Blair “Bub” Kough, 75, Three Springs, died Friday afternoon, September 17, 2010, as a result of an auto accident in Three Springs.
Born September 12, 1935, in Clay Township, Huntingdon County, he was the son of the late Blair and Elma (Nonemaker) Kough. He was married to Jeanann Bowes on April 2, 1966. Mrs. Kough died on September 17, 2010.
He is survived by a daughter, Kathy Kough of Rockhill Furnace, and a son, Kirby Kough, and wife Katie of Fayetteville; and four granddaughters: Kassidy, Kinslee, Payton and Audrey; three sisters: Joan Barth, Mechanicsburg; Carol Davis, Shippensburg; and Jeanne Wible, Three Springs.
He was a member of Cherry Grove Church of God, Three Springs.
A carpenter, he was a member of the Carpenter’s Union, Pittsburgh. He retired from HRI Construction Co., State College. In earlier years, he had worked for D. W. Miller Inc., Huntingdon.
He was a member of Huntingdon and Mount Union senior citizens centers.
He served four years with the U.S Army.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia. Rev. James Lynn officiated. Interment was made in Cherry Grove Cemetery,
