Last weekend, Buzz and Bea Covert and John and Mary Mumma enjoyed some shopping at Gettysburg Outlets and ended their day at Prime Outlets in Hagerstown and dined at the Golden Corral Restaurant.

Our sympathy is extended to the families of Bub and Jeananne Kough of Three Springs.

Joe Calagouri, husband of Shirley Ann Calagouri, passed away this weekend. Our sympathy is extended to Shirley Ann and her family.

Tammy Grissinger and Bea Covert visited with Tasha and Miah Goshorn on Wednesday morning. The ladies enjoyed holding Miah while chatting the day away.

A bus load of folks from Immanuel Bible Church had an enjoyable day on Saturday at the Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster for the play, “Joseph.”

Brian, Micah and Emily Ramsey visited with Roger and Pat Ramsey last Sunday afternoon.

On Saturday, the Saltillo Class of 1955 met at Hoss’s Restaurant in Huntingdon.

Terri Grissinger attended soccer games at Forbes Road on Saturday morning to watch Brenden and Holden Lupey in action. Brenden scored two goals for his team, and Holden scored one for his team.

Steve and Tammy Grissinger and Ramon Martin attended the Penn State game on Saturday.

The Three Springs Fire Co. will be hosting a turkey dinner on Sunday, October 3, beginning at 11 a.m.

Visiting recently with the Steve and Karen Grissinger family were Travis Madden, Ramon Martin, Brent Carlson, Donna Locke, and Tom and Mamie Streightiff.

Autumn arrives on Thursday with a full moon. The leaves are changing early because of the dry weather, but the acorns are plentiful in the woods. So anyone care to make a prediction for our winter?
