Waterfall Family Involved In Three-Car Collision
A family hailing from Waterfall were involved in a three-vehicle crash in Jackson Township, Huntingdon County, on Monday, September 6.
According to state police reports out of Huntingdon, passenger 67-year-old Joanne Gilbert of Waterfall was transported from the 1:25 p.m. accident scene located at the intersection of routes 305 and 26. Joanne Gilbert was a passenger in a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country driven by Albert Gilbert, 75, of Denver, Pa.
Albert Gilbert reportedly failed to stop at an intersection and struck a 2004 Ford E-350 operated by Jeffrey Bailey, 40, of State College, police said. Following the initial impact, Albert Gilbert’s vehicle then struck Darla Forsha, 43, from Huntingdon, who was operating a 2007 Honda CRV.
Additional passengers in the Town and Country were James Gilbert, 68, and Raymond Gilbert, 46, both of Waterfall, and 69-year-old Paula Gilbert of Denver.
Albert Gilbert will be cited for a stop-sign infraction.
