Two Vehicles Towed From Crash Scene

Two vehicles were towed from a crash scene at the intersection of Route 30 and Sipes Mill Road last Thursday morning. Pennsylvania State Police from the Mc- Connellsburg substation reported 78-year-old Anna K. Harvey stopped at a stop sign along Sipes Mill Road at 9:52 a.m. and when pulling out failed to yield to an oncoming vehicle. Harvey’s 1982 Ford truck was struck in the passenger side door and fender by a southbound 1997 Ford Escort driven by Forrest William Lucas, 51, of Everett. Harvey, from Needmore, was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to Fulton County Medical Center for treatment of minor head injuries. Lucas refused treatment at the scene of minor injuries. Bard’s Towing and Interstate Towing were responsible for removing the vehicles from the accident scene in Licking Creek Township. State police also received assistance from Mc- Connellsburg Fire and EMS.
