McConnellsburg Woman Injured

Twenty-year-old Sabrina Jenkins of McConnellsburg was transported to UPMC Bedford after suffering injuries during a two-vehicle collision along Route 30 in Bedford County.

Pennsylvania State Police from Bedford reported Jenkins was a passenger in a vehicle driving by Cody Fagley, 20, Harrisonville. On Friday, September 10, Fagley was travelling eastbound in the left-hand lane when his 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier struck the left rear corner of a 1997 Chevrolet 1500 truck driven by Ronald McIntyre, 64, from Greencastle.

McIntyre was reportedly stopped and waiting to make a left-hand turn into the parking lot of Juniata Trading when his truck was struck. The impact pushed the truck forward, while Fagley’s car spun into the westbound lanes.

Jenkins and McIntyre’s passenger, 45-year-old Tressa McIntyre, also from Greencastle, were taken to UPMC Bedford following the 7:30 p.m. accident. Neither operator suffered any injuries. Police did not say if anyone involved was utilizing a seat belt.
