Week 18 standings for Great Cove Men’s League play show Jamie Greathead and Brian Mellott at the top of the leader board with 43.5 points. John Mixell and Bryan Campbell follow in second place with 41 points. Tied for third at 40.5 points are the Toby Skiles/Jason Gordon twosome and league partners Carl Paylor and Andy Washabaugh. Three teams hold the number four spot: Matt Sigel/Rodney Mellott, Dave Tyson/Ken Mayhugh and Ryan Earley/Foster Earley.

Kim Sheeder has racked up the most points, 94, after 14 weeks of Ladies League competition at Great Cove. Cindy Blair follows in second with 89 points, Deana Everhart in third with 86 points, and Betty Boyle, 72 points, holds the fourth-place standing. Kay Wagner and Lois O’- Donnell are tied for fifth place with 69 points.

Gary Bard and Bryan Campbell shot a 65 to win Saturday’s calcutta 18-hole alternate shot tournie. They were followed by Ryan Earley and Brett Cornelius, 67, in second place. Rodney Mellott and Jeremy Culler, 68, took home third following a one-hole playoff. Also shooting 68s for a fourth-place tie were Tim Ranck and Jim Truax and Mike Kendall and Vic Erickson.

Tony Foreman shot his way to the men’s match play championship at Great Cove, winning it on Aug. 8 after four rounds of play. Lucas Carbaugh was the first flight winner and Paul Nero won match play’s second flight.

Ryan Earley sank a 153- yard hole-in-one on Great Cove’s par-3 12th hole Aug. 8. Earley used his 7 iron off the tee to score the ace while playing with Jim Truax, Bill Yocum and Andy Washabaugh.

Next up on Great Cove’s tournament schedule is the Chamber of Commerce & Tourisim’s outing this Friday.
