Motorcycle, Lexus Collide On Route 30
Forty-year-old Jessie A. Haupt of Huntingdon, Pa., was flown to Conemaugh Hospital in Johnstown after his 1998 Harley Davidson Wide Glide crossed Route 30 and crashed into an oncoming vehicle.
State police reported fellow motorist Mark A. Pisano, 56, from Pittsburgh swerved to miss colliding with the motorcycle at 5:48 p.m. on August 7 but was unsuccessful. Haupt was not wearing a helmet during the crash and sustained major injuries. Pisano and his four passengers were wearing seat belts and escaped harm. Haupt will be cited in connection with the accident.
