Walter D. Frazier

Walter David Frazier, 68, McConnellsburg, died Saturday, August 14, 2010, at ManorCare Health Services in Chambersburg.

He was born December 25, 1941, in Woodbury, N.J., the son of the late Alvin and Sara (Downes) Frazier. He was married to Patsy Reem Frazier on December 22, 1972.

He served in the United States Navy for 20 years as a storekeeper before retiring.

He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in McConnellsburg.

He was a member of American Legion Post 561 in McConnellsburg, a member of the Regional Action Team of Fulton County, a board member of the Food Basket, and the finance council at St. Stephen Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife Patsy “Pat” L. Frazier of Mc- Connellsburg; two sons: Donald Wayne Frazier of Mc- Connellsburg and John Christopher (husband of Rachael) Frazier of Jamison, Pa.; and two grandchildren: Jacob Andrew and Lily Paige.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alvin H. and Sara Frazier; four brothers and one sister.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Stephen Catholic Church in McConnellsburg, Friday, August 20, 2010, at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fulton County Library, 227 North First Street, McConnellsburg, PA 17233 or the Fulton County Food Basket, 100 Woodside Drive, McConnellsburg, PA 17233.
