Both these Forbes Road students spent a week at the actual State Police Academy in Hershey, training and living in the actual training facilities and barracks used by real state police cadets along with 62 other top cadets from around the state.

The week included a “behind the scenes” tour of the state capital, a S.E.R.T. demonstration, lunch at the Governor's Mansion, horses, helicopters, guest speakers, self-defense classes, Chocolate World and no shortage, pushups and 5 a.m. runs.

The week culminated Saturday with an impressive demonstration of these top cadets performing an outstanding close order marching demonstration, a graduation ceremony at the academy and giving tours for their parents.
