Hancock Arts Council Concert In The Park
Ben Andrews – Foot Stomp’n Blues Sensation – will play in Hancock’s Widmeyer Park on Sunday, August 15, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Sunday In The Park concert series is free and open to the public. Ben Andrews has played ih musicians such as Buddy Guy, Bo Diddley, Junior Wells, Muddy Waters, John Embry and Walter Horton. He has also played at major blues, rock and folk festivals like Bishopstock, Glastonbury, Chichester, Reading, Danbury, Winchester and others.
Andrews is one of the most exciting musicians to play in Hancock. With a booming guitar and an authentic bluesy voice, Andrews plays historical renditions of the greatest blues songs ever. He has been playing around Europe and America and recently performed to rave reviews at the Log Cabin restaurant and at the Park n’ Dine restaurant. If you like blues, bring a picnic and a blanket or chair and sit and enjoy the best blues around. In case of rain, the concert will be held in the Hanocck Town Hall Community Center.
