Tim Streightiff was home from Washington, D.C., for a few days visiting.

Three Springs Fire Co. will be hosting a chicken barbecue on Sunday, August 15, beginning at 11 a.m.

Panda Horne, Lori Lupey and Shelly Kelly attended a workshop: “Quiet the Mind & Open the Heart” presented by Lindsay Wagner this past weekend in Baltimore, Md.

Mark your calendars for the annual yard sale at Immanuel Bible Church on Starr Road, Three Springs. Fifteen families have signed up for the yard sale on August 7 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. A food stand and baked goods will also be available.

Bryan Ramsey visited with Roger and Pat Ramsey this weekend.

Visiting recently with the Steve and Karen Grissinger family were Lyle and Thelma Reed, Tawnya Hall, Irene Park, Donna Locke, Tom and Mamie Streightiff, Ramon Martin, Sherry, Alexi and Noah Collins, and Mike Fogal.

The Clear Ridge ladies and gents will be having a yard sale with sandwiches, pie and soup on September 2 and 3. A festival will be held on September 16 with dinners, ice cream and homemade pies.
