Three Injured In I-70 Accident
Three individuals were transported to UPMC Bedford Memorial on Wednesday, July 21, following a single vehicle accident along Interstate 70.
State police reported driver Torry B. Heverley, 23, of Marionville, Pa., became distracted and allowed her 2010 Dodge Caliber to travel onto the berm at 8:37 a.m. The vehicle left approximately 60 feet of tire marks in the gravel before hitting a speed limit sign, spinning in a circle and rolling onto its roof.
Heverley and passengers Clarissa M. Myers, 19, of Tidioute and 51-year-old Lillian B. McCain from Grand Valley suffered injuries of unknown severity. All three were wearing seat belts. Heverley will be cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
