These warm days are true to form with heat as we’re are dealing with dog days. It’s supposed to last until August 11, but we did get a little shower on Sunday.

We are sorry to report Grace Heefner hasn’t been feeling so well these past few days. Hope she will be well soon.

Sorry to hear Tammy Shotts is not doing as well as we’d like to hear. We send get well wishes her way.

Glad to report Betty Malot is improving slowly and is at home.

The Knobsville United Methodist Church had a nice group of children attend Vacation Bible School last week.

Rusty Carmack was scheduled to have more surgery last Friday. We send recovery wishes to him. We hear he is a patient at Pittsburgh Hospital.

Household hint – Remove stains: get perspiration stains off shirt collars by wetting the collar with warm or hot water and rubbing with cream of tartar, then wash. Remove grass stains by dabbing with diluted rubbing alcohol, then wash.
