Ricky L. Wilson
Ricky Lee Wilson, 52, Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died Saturday, July 17, 2010, at his residence while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born February 18, 1958, in McConnellsburg, he was the son of Ineza “Betty” Shade Miller, Shade Gap, and the late Sharon “Jake” Wilson.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church where he previously served as a church trustee. He graduated from Southern Huntingdon County High School and Control Data Institute. He was vice president of Mels Business Systems and former manager of the Martinsburg office. He was a former Moose member, and he was a hunting and fishing enthusiast and loved working on his lawn and flower garden.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Sally Jane Paylor Wilson; two sons: Jacob Lee Wilson and Adam Christopher Wilson, both of Berkeley Springs; two sisters: Pam Lynch, Mc- Connellsburg; and Cheryl Kay Waters, Burnt Cabins; two brothers: Doug Wilson, Shade Gap, and Mike Wilson, McConnellsburg; stepfather Garry Miller, Shade Gap; and one granddaughter, Chloe Leith Wilson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held Wednesday, July 21, at 11:00 a.m., at First United Methodist Church, Berkeley Springs. Rev. Andrew Cooney officiated. Private burial was at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg.
