Genevieve C. Nichols
She was born January 8, 1912, in Michigan, the daughter of the late Lyle and Ellen VanKuren Rix. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Eckley; second husband, Anthony Glenkoski; and third husband, Warren “Nick” Nichols.
She was a riveter for the Ford company in Eacslant, Mich.
She was a devoted member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Hancock.
She is survived by 13 children: daughters Nancy O. St. John, Bowie, Md.; Deborah Wodell, Chicago, Ill.; Cynthia Shuler, Ann Marie Suhar, Lakeworth, Fla.; Cherie Zydel and Lorraine Weil, both of Stewartstown, Pa.; Heather Eckley, Sarasota, Fla.; sons Richard C. Eckley, New Lebanon, Ohio; Peter Eckley, Sanford, N.C.; Gohn Eckley, Frederick, Md.; Ricky Eckley and Michael Eckley, both of Riverdale, Md.; Kelly Eckley, Sydney, Ohio; and Anthony St. John; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ghon Eckley, and a sister, Virginia Williamson.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, July 19, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Peter Catholic Church, Hancock. Burial was at Warfordsburg Presbyterian Cemetery.
Grove Funeral Home, Hancock, was in charge of arrangements.
