The Wells Tannery community is proud of the recreational facilities which have been built up through the years in its community park. These now include a community building, a baseball field, bleachers, bandstand, open and covered pavilions, concession stand, picnic tables, a horseshoe pitching area and a children’s playground, complete with swings and roundabouts. The latest addition, however, puts this small northern Fulton County in a class by it- self, making it the only community in the whole county which can boast a tennis court.
