Christian Follies Journey McConnellsburg Area Churches are presenting Christian Follies “Journey”“ on Friday and Saturday, July 23 and 24, at 7:00 p.m. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. for an “encounter” with Jesus and light refreshments. An ice cream social will follow the show. The event is free, but donations will be accepted to benefit the famiy of Chris Conner and to minister to those in need in Fulton County.

Special Services Evangelistic services will be held July 25 at Hustontown Church of God with David Fagley at 10:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Bible Study Burnt Cabins Bible Church will be starting a study of the New Testament books of James through Jude beginning Sunday, August 1, at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Bob and the congregation would like to invite everyone in the Burnt Cabins area to join them as this study begins. Bible School Bible School America – In God We Trust – Learn what happened after the Pilgrims landed in America. Vacation Bible School will be held at Pleasant Grove Christian Church in Warfordburg, July 26-30. Registration each night is from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Bible school will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. More information may be obtained by calling 717-573-4512. All are welcome.

Bible School Cito United Methodist Church will hold Vacation Bible School August 4-8, Wednesday to Saturday, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and 9:15 a.m. on Sunday. The theme is “Hero Headquarters.” This will be a fun-filled week learning Bible lessons, games, crafts, singing and refreshments. There will be classes for preschool through adult. Bible School Hit the Trail at Saddle Ridge Ranch Vacation Bible School at Sideling Hill Christian Church, 10424 Sipes Mill Road, July 26-30, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. There will be Bible lessons, music, games, crafts and sncaks. There will also be a “family hoedown night” on Saturday, July 24, at 6:00 p.m. This will be a preregistration night filled with funand food.

Homecoming Service Amaranth Church of the Brethren will be holding its annual homecoming services on Sunday, July 25, at 10:30 a.m. Speaker will be Allen Painter. There will be a covered-dish meal following services. Special music with Kenny Johnson and son, Joyce Swabb, Allen Painter and family will be at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome.

Special Services The Proclaim Ministry Team from Pensacola Christian College will present their program Friday, July 23, at 7:00 p.m., at Dublin Mills Community Church. Proclaim features stirring music and/or dramatic selections and a DVD presentaiton about the college. There is no admission charge. More information may be obtained by calling 814-685-3910.

Youth Camp A youth camp for all ages, sponsored by Fort Littleton Bible Church, will be held at Sinoquipe Scout Reservation, Fort Littleton, August 4 to 7 at 9:00 a.m. every day and 2:00 p.m. on August 7. More information and camp forms may be obtained by calling 987-4404 by July 4.
