Historical Society Museum Open Fridays

Pictured above are Edie Coleman, curator of The Fulton County Historical Society’s museum, giving instruction to Mary Ruth Gallo, who is working for the Historical Society through the job training and employment agency’s summer youth program. Mary works Monday through Thursday at the library and Friday at the museum during open hours of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition to the usual display, there is a display of various needlework and old-time cooking utensils used and crafted in an earlier time. Plan on seeing these displays from now through Labor Day. You can also request a tour at some other time by contacting the Historical Society to make arrangements.
