PITTSBURGH (AP) – An autopsy will determine if this week’s heat wave contributed to the death of a 45-year-old western Pennsylvania woman.

Authorities say Annarose Fedele’s body temperature was 108 degrees and she was suffering from heat stroke when she died Wednesday. Her husband found her in an upstairs room at their Turtle Creek home and says the air conditioning there stopped working two years ago.

Fedele also had diabetes and was on several medications. Authorities hope the autopsy will determine a cause of death.

The recent heat wave is also to blame for the death of an 89-year-old man in Lehigh County and a 92-year-old Philadelphia woman.
