Country Concert To Benefit The Daisy Fund

The board of directors of the Daisy Fund is pleased to announce its annual country music concert benefit featuring Nashville recording artist The O’Donnells with special guest appearances and schedule of events.

The event begins at noon on July 18, 2010. Barbecue chicken dinners will be available for $7 along with a menu of other items, including pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburger barbecue, desserts and Goose Brothers ice cream. A Chinese auction will be held along with face painting and games for the kids.

Local singer Emily Centi will kick off the show at 1:00 p.m. followed by country line dancing lessons at 1:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. Mike Scott and The Gospel Jammers will perform at 2:00 p.m. with the O’Donnells wrapping up the evening with two shows at 3:30 and 4:15.

The benefit is at Hammond’s Grove in Spring Run, Pa., on Route 75.
