Hustontown High School Class of 1949 held their 61st class reunion recently at the New Oak Forest Restaurant with 16 attending.

Congratulations to Bailey Elbin for making honorable mention on the all-state softball team. She is from Southern Fulton School.

Tracy and Michaela Kendall of town and Rodney, Bev and Tanner Sipes of Breezewood recently vacationed in the states of Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota and Michigan. They visited the Mall of America in Minnesota, Field of Dreams in Iowa and other interesting sights.

Harry and Carolyn Kline of Harrisonville attended the wedding of ShaDawn and Nathan Tucker in Mif- flinburg on July 3.

Tim and Deb McGarvey and daughters Gabrielle and Abagael spent two weeks at the Outer Banks recently

It was nice to visit with Kathleen Detwiler on Saturday at her house on Cooper Lane. Kathleen is now residing in the Somerford House, located at 10116 Sharpsburg Pike, Apt. 102, Hagerstown, MD 21740.

A 76th birthday party was held for Evelyn Souders on Sunday by her family at the Cito Methodist Church with family members and friends attending.

Sympathy goes to the family of Tom Anderson, who passed away at 98, just a few months shy of turning 99.

Charlotte Crouse of Hustontown has gotten a good report from her doctor and will not have to have any further treatments. Charlotte had part of a lung removed recently.

Re-Creation performed at McConnellsburg Firehall and McConnellsburg Methodist Church over the weekend to full houses that heard wonderful music from the talented singers.

Rudy Mihalick is home recuperating from a stay in Holy Spirit Hospital recently with a heart problem.

Please keep Justin Hudson in your prayers. He is in the pediatrics ICU in Her- Hospital. Justin turned 13 years old on June 6.

Aaron Hahn is now a patient in Harrisburg Rehabilitation Center. Aaron is able to walk, talk and eat and improving more each day. Please remember him in your prayers.
